Statesville, NC (SportsNetwork.com) - David Ragan and David Gilliland will return to Front Row Motorsports for the 2014 season.

The team made the announcement for the Sprint Cup drivers on Wednesday.

Ragan gave Front Row its first Sprint Cup win on May 5, taking the checkered flag for the Aaron's 499 at Talladega Superspeedway, which is the site of this week's stop on the circuit. Gilliland finished second in that race.

"This has been a milestone year for us, and we're extremely happy that two of the guys who helped get us here will be back next year," said Front Row owner Bob Jenkins in a statement Wednesday. "We're improving our race program, attracting more sponsors and setting and achieving higher and higher goals each year. Having David and David, our 1-2 punch, back in those cars next year is central to continuing our growth and improvement."

Ragan will return to the No. 34 car for his third year with Front Row in 2014. He is currently 26th in this year's Sprint Cup standings.

"Getting that first win for Front Row this year was huge," said Ragan, who has two wins in his Sprint Cup Series career. "But we made a lot of other improvements that maybe didn't get the big headlines, like qualifying better and stepping up our mile-and-a-half program, that have made a big difference in our performance every week."

Gilliland, currently 29th in the Sprint Cup standings, will be in his fifth season with Front Row in 2014.

"This is definitely not the same team I came to five years ago," said Gilliland, an eight-year Sprint Cup veteran with two second-place finishes his best results. "We've made big strides across the board, and I'm proud to have been a part of that progress."

The 37-year-old Gilliland won the pole position for the 2007 Daytona 500 and finished eighth.
