Indiana's quarterback depth has taken another hit with the potential loss of backup Nate Boudreau.
Coach Kevin Wilson says Boudreau has a sprained throwing shoulder and is considered day to day heading into Saturday's game against Penn State.
It's another big blow to the reeling Hoosiers (3-5, 0-4 Big Ten) who lost their top two quarterbacks, Nate Sudfeld and Chris Covington, with season-ending injuries in a loss at Iowa on Oct. 11.
The loss of Boudreau means freshman walk-on Danny Cameron could serve as the backup to another true freshman, Zander Diamont. Bryce Smith is the only other quarterback listed on the roster.
Indiana's high-scoring offense has struggled mightily since losing Sudfeld.
