Paris, France (SportsNetwork.com) - Paris Saint-Germain continued to struggle in Ligue 1 play on Sunday as the defending champions were held to a 1-1 draw by Monaco at the Parc des Princes.
After winning consecutive league titles by significant point margins, Laurent Blanc's side has badly under performed in league play this term, they are unbeaten, but haven't clicked it into gear and are seven points adrift of the top spot.
It was a cagey affair against fellow big-spenders Monaco, but the home side broke the scoreless deadlock in the 71st minute when Lucas fired home a well- placed strike.
But PSG were denied all three points as Anthony Martial found the back of the net for Monaco in the 90th minute to force the sides to settle for a point apiece.
The result sees Monaco improve to 11 points from nine matches play to sit in 13th place in the Ligue 1 table.
Also in Ligue 1 on Sunday, Alexandre Lacazette fired home a hat trick to send Lyon to a comfortable 3-0 rout of Lille, while Wissam Ben Yedder's 22nd-minute strike was enough to help Toulouse claim a 1-0 victory over Saint Etienne.
Georges N'Koudou netted in the 33rd minute to carry Nantes to a 1-0 result over Guingamp.
