Auburn Hills, MI (SportsNetwork.com) - The Detroit Pistons announced Thursday that veteran guard Chauncey Billups underwent a successful arthroscopic surgical procedure on his left knee.
The team said the procedure smoothed irregularities in the meniscus and alleviated pain and inflammation.
Billups, 37, will be re-evaluated in 2-to-3 weeks.
In 19 games this season, he has averaged 3.8 points and 2.2 assists.
