Kevin Frandsen drove in what proved to be the game-winning run in the first inning as the Philadelphia Phillies took a 2-1 win over the Miami Marlins in the second of a three-game set.

Darin Ruf brought in the other run for the Phillies, who snapped a five-game skid.

Zach Miner pitched four innings in the start and gave up a run on four hits. Michael Stutes (3-1) pitched a 1-2-3 fifth to get the win. Jonathan Papelbon earned his 29th save with a scoreless ninth.

Justin Ruggiano drove in the lone run of the game for the Marlins, who had won two of three coming in. Henderson Alvarez (4-6) gave up two runs on five hits over seven innings to take the loss.

The Phillies got their only runs of the game in the first inning. With one out, Jimmy Rollins doubled while Chase Utley and Domonic Brown walked to load the bases. Ruf then worked a walk to bring home one run and Frandsen followed with a groundout for a 2-0 lead.

Miami got a run back in the second as Giancarlo Stanton led off with a single and scored on Ruggiano's double. Ruggiano was nailed at third trying to stretch the hit into a triple.

The Marlins left men on base in each inning except for the first, fifth and seventh.

Alvarez has dropped his past two starts ... The Phillies have taken 12 of the 18 games against the Marlins this season ...Miami went 0-for-7 with runners in scoring position and left seven men on base.
