Minneapolis, MN (SportsNetwork.com) - Minnesota Vikings running backs Adrian Peterson and Toby Gerhart are both inactive for Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Peterson left last week's game against the Baltimore Ravens with a sprained right foot.
The star running back returned to the practice field Friday in a limited capacity and was listed as questionable for Sunday's game.
In 13 games this season, Peterson has carried the ball 268 times for 1,221 yards and 10 touchdowns.
Gerhart was also listed as questionable with a hamstring injury. With Minnesota's top two running backs sidelined, Matt Asiata will get the start.
Cornerbacks Chris Cook (knee) and Xavier Rhodes (ankle), tight end John Carlson (concussion) and guard Brandon Fusco (knee) are also inactive.
