The Minnesota Twins called up infielder Eduardo Escobar and pitcher Luis Perdomo from Triple-A Rochester on Tuesday.
Escobar was acquired from Chicago on July 28 as part of the Francisco Liriano trade. He batted .207 in 36 games with the White Sox this season prior to the trade.
Perdomo pitched in five games earlier this year with the Twins and gave up three runs -- one earned -- and five hits over six innings. He struck out three and walked seven.
