Pittsburgh, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - Pittsburgh Penguins forward James Neal is sidelined indefinitely because of a concussion.
Penguins coach Dan Bylsma made the announcement Friday after practice.
"You don't know if you're talking about 1-2 days or much longer," said Bylsma on Friday. "You hope the symptoms subside and it's shorter than longer."
Neal missed practice Thursday and was evaluated by team doctors.
The 26-year-old veteran has 22 goals and 27 assists for 49 points in 44 games this season.
