Penguins' Neal fined $2,500 for high stick
New York, NY – Pittsburgh Penguins forward James Neal was fined $2,500 for a high stick during Saturday's overtime win at Montreal.
The NHL announced the fine -- the maximum allowed under the collective bargaining agreement -- on Tuesday.
Neal was whistled for a minor penalty after high-sticking Canadiens defenseman P.K. Subban at 7:10 of the third period. His fine goes into the Players' Emergency Assistance Fund.
