After three successive defeats to open the Eredivisie season, Feyenoord secured a 3-1 home victory over NAC behind a hat trick from Graziano Pelle.
Pelle netted two goals in the first half one minute apart to put his side in control, while he completed his hat trick shortly after halftime to stretch the advantage to 3-0 for Feyenoord.
Joey Suk managed to pull a goal back for NAC 30 minutes from time, but there was no further reply from the visitors, who own only one point from four matches.
Utrecht earned its first victory of the season on Sunday as Steve De Ridder tallied both goals in a 2-0 triumph over AZ Alkmaar.
De Ridder scored in the 54th and again in the 66th minute, while Vitesse handed Twente its first defeat with a 1-0 result at home.
Mike Havenaar provided the lone goal in the 22nd minute for Vitesse and it was enough to steer the club to three points.
Sunday's other contest saw Groningen manage to claim a point in a 3-3 draw at Go Ahead Eagles despite playing with nine men.
A pair of goals from Marnix Kolder helped Eagles to a 3-2 lead before Groningen had two players, Krisztian Adorjan and Timo Letschert, sent off in the second half.
But Genero Zeefuik managed to net the equalizer three minutes from time for the visitors despite the numerical disadvantage.
