Defensive tackle Vince Wilfork is the latest Patriots player with an apparent serious injury.

Coach Bill Belichick says he doesn't have a lot of information on whether the five-time Pro Bowl player tore his Achilles tendon in Sunday night's 30-23 win over the Atlanta Falcons. The Boston Globe reported that Wilfork tore the right Achilles tendon and is almost certainly out for the season.

Belichick also said he didn't know much about whether Wilfork would miss much or all of the remaining season. He said tests were to be performed Monday morning.

New England is 4-0 despite losing Wilfork early in the game. The Patriots have played without tight end Rob Gronkowski in all four games and wide receiver Danny Amendola in the last three.
