Paterno coaches Penn St from press box

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – Joe Paterno returned to the field for pregame warmups for the first time this season, but remained in the press box for Saturday's game against Temple.

Paterno still has not fully recovered from shoulder and pelvis injuries suffered in an accidental collision at practice on Aug. 7.

The 84-year-old Paterno would like to return to the field. He says he isn't quick enough yet to get out of the way if action comes his way.
