Bogota, Colombia – Russia's Alexandra Panova and unknown Vecino will play for the title at the Copa Colsanitas tennis tournament after winning semifinal matches on Saturday.
Panova easily dispatched Hungary's Timea Babos, 6-2, 6-3, in the first semifinal before Arruabarrena-Vecino claimed a 6-4, 6-3 win over Edina Gallovits-Hall of Romania.
Both Panova and Arruabarrena-Vecino will play in their first WTA final on Sunday.
Panova was the highest-ranked player in the semifinals, at No. 118.
This week's champion will claim $37,000.
