Chicago Bears tight end Gabe Miller is apologizing for the failed drug test that got him a four-game suspension from the NFL.
Miller said Tuesday that it was an isolated incident that he blamed on poor judgment. Miller is eligible to practice, but will be barred from team facilities for the first four weeks of the season.
Second-year fullback Evan Rodriguez, meanwhile, blamed poor judgment too after his second arrest of the offseason. Rodriguez was charged Friday with driving under the influence as well as speeding and improper lane usage. He was charged in March with resisting an officer without violence and disorderly intoxication, charges that were dropped.
