A forerunning sled struck a track worker at the Sanki Sliding Center just before the start of training for two-man bobsledding on Thursday.

There were no other immediate details, including the condition of the worker. An ambulance was seen leaving the track just after the incident.

Forerunning sleds are used before training and competition sessions to assess track conditions and make sure the facility is safe for racing.

The incident apparently occurred in the finish line area. Training was delayed while workers were making repairs to the ice, and the International Bobsled and Skeleton Federation did not immediately respond to a request for further comment.
