Oklahoma wide receiver Ryan Broyles used a big touchdown play to set the NCAA record for career receptions during Saturday's game against Kansas.

With 7:50 left in the second quarter, he caught a 57-yard touchdown pass from Landry Jones. He ran past the Kansas defense from the slot on the right side of the field, made the catch near the goal line and easily got into the end zone for the score for a 24-10 lead.

It was his 317th career reception -- one more than the total compiled by Purdue's Taylor Stubblefield from 2001-04.
