Wolverhampton, England – Wolverhampton will be without midfielder Jamie O'Hara for at least the next month after he undergoes hernia surgery.
O'Hara joined Wolves from Tottenham over the summer and has started 14 games in the Premiership this season, scoring two goals.
"Jamie has been complaining of some groin pain for the last couple of months," said a Wolves spokesman.
"We were able to manage it with treatment and he was able to play but it got to a stage where a specialist decided that surgery would be needed."
Wolverhampton enters a busy holiday period two points above the drop zone and the 25-year-old O'Hara looks likely to miss games with Arsenal, Bolton, Chelsea, Tottenham and Aston Villa during his time out.
