The Dow Chemical Company has said it will not put any of its company logos on a decorative wrap that covers London's Olympics Stadium following protests about its sponsorship.

Last week, India's Olympic Committee called for Games organizers to drop Dow's sponsorship because of its ties to the deadly 1984 gas leak in Bhopal, India that killed an estimated 15,000 people.

Company branding is never permitted at the Olympics stadium during the Games, but previously it was not clear whether the chemical manufacturer would put up branding on five "test panels" that were to be removed months before the event.

Dow stressed Monday that there will be no branding on the curtain-style wrap either before or during the Games.
