Georgia came through the opening month just fine.

The mission now: Keep the foot on the pedal.

The Bulldogs moved up to three spots to No. 6 in The Associated Press rankings Sunday after a thrilling 44-41 victory over LSU, their second triumph over a Top 10 team this season.

The schedule gets much easier the rest of the way, with only one game remaining against a ranked opponent — No. 18 Florida, which already lost its quarterback to a season-ending injury.

Georgia got an injury scare in its win over the Tigers, losing star running back Todd Gurley to a sprained ankle in the first half. Gurley watched the rest of the game in a walking boot, but coach Mark Richt says the sophomore is day to day.
