After a sluggish start in their opener against Missouri State, senior quarterback Collin Klein helped Kansas State storm out of the gate Saturday.

Klein ran for three touchdowns and threw for another in the 21st-ranked Wildcats' 52-13 win over Miami-Florida.

He was 9-of-11 for 210 yards through the air and added 71 yards on 22 carries on the ground for K-State (2-0), which has won 11 straight home tilts against unranked opponents.

John Hubert carried the ball 19 times for 106 yards and a touchdown, while Tyler Lockett caught three balls for 59 yards.

Stephen Morris threw for 215 yards on 19-of-26 efficiency for the Hurricanes (1-1), who defeated Boston College in their season opener last week.
