Isaiah Wilkerson scored on a layup with 2 seconds left to lift the New Jersey Institute of Technology to a 65-64 victory over Longwood on Saturday.

Wilkerson finished with 14 points for the Highlanders (9-12), who have won three of four. Chris Flores hit four 3-pointers and led NJIT with 19 points.

Wilkerson's basket capped a game that featured seven ties and 17 lead changes.

NJIT took a 63-59 lead on PJ Miller's free throws with 1:03 left, but the Lancers (8-18), who have lost three straight games, came back.

Antwan Carter hit a layup with 53 seconds left and Martiz Washington followed with a 3-pointer for a 64-63 advantage with 9 seconds to play.

Carter finished with 29 points and 11 rebounds for Longwood, which was 6 of 12 from the 3-point line in the second half after going 0 for 9 in the first. David Robinson added 12 points for the Lancers.
