GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) Tarik Cohen, who finished with 116 rushing yards, broke for a 33-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter that sealed a 24-14 victory for North Carolina A&T over Bethune-Cookman on Saturday.
Cohen, who had the 16th 100-yard game of his career, also caught five passes for 29 yards.
Bethune-Cookman jumped out front when Quentin Williams hit Jontavious Carter on an 82-yard scoring strike with 6:55 left in the first quarter.
North Carolina A&T's Cody Jones kicked a 29-yard field goal and Kwashuan Quick passed to Denzel Keyes from the two for a score and a 10-7 lead at the half. Lamar Raynard passed to Keyes from the four to give North Carolina A&T (5-1, 3-0 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) a 17-7 lead with 5:49 left in the third.
Williams threw for 191 yards and one touchdown for Bethune-Cookman (5-2, 3-1), and Larry Brihm also threw for 167 yards for the Wildcats.
