NBA fines Clippers F Evans $25K for obscene gesture

New York, NY – Los Angeles Clippers forward Reggie Evans has been fined $25,000 by the NBA for making an obscene gesture in the team's win over the New Orleans Hornets on Monday.

The fine was announced Friday by Stu Jackson, NBA vice president of basketball operations.

The incident occurred with 4:23 remaining in the second quarter of the 97-85 victory at Staples Center. Evans was caught by a TV camera rubbing his middle finger against his right cheek as he prepared to take a foul shot.
