Denver, CO – The Washington Nationals reinstated infielder/outfielder Mark DeRosa from the 15-day disabled list and placed outfielder Xavier Nady on the 15-day DL Monday with right wrist tendinitis.
A strained left oblique had kept DeRosa sidelined since late April. He was just 3-for-37 in 13 games this season before the injury.
Nady has struggled with the bat as well this year, hitting .157 with three home runs in 40 games.
