Durham, NC (SportsNetwork.com) - North Carolina Central football coach Jerry Mack announced additional responsibilities for three assistant coaches on Friday.

Defensive coordinator and safeties coach Granville Eastman has taken on the title of assistant head coach, while quarterbacks coach T.C. Taylor has become co-offensive coordinator, along with Mack.

Offensive line coach Jason Onyebuagu also will be the team's run game coordinator.

"We have shifted some responsibilities in our program in order to work more efficiently in our day-to-day operations," Mack said. "The three role changes will allow each coach to specialize in a certain area that will help our program be more detailed in every aspect of game-planning."

During Mack's first season at North Carolina Central last year, the Eagles finished 7-5 and earned a share of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference championship.

The Eagles open their 2015 schedule on Sept. 5 when they host St. Augustine's.
