The Cleveland Browns own the No. 1 overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, in addition to the 12th pick as well. The likeliest player to go first is former Texas A&M defensive end Myles Garrett, who's one of the best pass-rushing prospects since Jadeveon Clowney.

He's the obvious selection for the Browns at No. 1, but to help his case, Garrett said he would apologize to them for a joke he made a few weeks back.

Garrett pleaded to Jerry Jones for the Cowboys to make a trade with the Browns by sending Tony Romo and picks to Cleveland so his childhood team could select him. The internet had a field day with Garrett's video, and on Saturday, he was asked about it.

Not surprisingly, Garrett said he'd apologize to the Browns, hoping to make amends.

So what's his plan to ensure he's the No. 1 pick?

"Dominate here and not make any more crazy videos."

That seems like a good plan, and it was off to a great start Sunday. In his first attempt in the 40-yard dash, Garrett ran 4.64. He followed that up with an unofficial 4.74 in his second run, but that was the result of a stumble towards the end.

He figures to be a Pro Bowler for many years to come, and his combine performance on Sunday was just proof of that.
