Thomas Reilly's goal in stoppage time allowed St Mirren to earn a 1-1 draw at Motherwell on Sunday, forcing the home side to settle for their third draw in four games.

Michael Higdon scored in the opening few minutes for Motherwell to put his team in front as he took advantage of some poor defending from Lee Mair to slot his shot past goalkeeper Craig Samson.

But the visitors spent the rest of the match pressing for an equalizer and had the better of the play before Motherwell was reduced to 10 men in the closing minutes with Shaun Hutchinson picking up two yellow cards in quick succession.

And St Mirren capitalized as Steven Thompson's shot was kept out by a nice stop from Darren Randolph, only for Reilly to bundle the ball over the goal line from close range on the rebound.

The other match on Sunday finished 0-0 between Hearts and Aberdeen, with the Dons having now been held to successive scoreless draws at home.
