Monchengladbach climbs to top of Bundesliga

Cologne, Germany – Mike Hanke scored twice as Monchengladbach 0 victory over Cologne at RheinEnergieStadion.

Hanke scored in the 20th and 47th minutes for his first two goals this season, and Juan Arango added his third of the season, as Monchengladbach captured its fourth straight win.

Monchengladbach, which has a road win over Bayern Munich to its credit already this season, won for the ninth time in 14 games this season to overtake Bayern Munich for the top spot.

Gladbach takes the one-point cushion over Bayern into the weekend. Bayern will play at Mainz on Sunday.
