Miami-Florida center Reggie Johnson has been reinstated by the NCAA after having his eligibility taken away for one game.

Johnson missed Sunday's win over Florida State following an investigation that found members of his family received impermissible travel benefits from a member of the former Hurricanes basketball coaching staff.

Miami said Tuesday that he had been reinstated and would be available for the North Carolina State game on Wednesday night.

Johnson was unaware of the benefits uncovered in a joint NCAA-Miami probe and his family was told they were allowed by the former member of the coaching staff, the university said Sunday.

The 6-foot-10 junior was ruled ineligible just hours before the Florida State game and Miami said it was seeking his immediate reinstatement by the NCAA.

Johnson, who declared for the NBA Draft last year before withdrawing his name, is averaging 10.6 points and 6.9 rebounds in 17 games this season.
