Brian Mills scored 20 points and Mercer avenged an earlier loss to Campbell with a 63-45 rout on Saturday.
The Bears (9-15, 6-7 Atlantic Sun Conference) didn't shoot well from the field, making only 16 of 46 shots (34.8 percent), but they outrebounded Campbell 41-32, led by Bud Thomas' 10 boards and 10 points. They held the Camels (11-12, 5-8) to their lowest scoring output of the season.
Campbell was even colder than Mercer, making only 25 percent from the field (13 of 52) and scoring only two field goals in the final 12 minutes.
Mercer, which lost 80-74 in overtime at Campbell Jan. 10, made up for its cold field-goal shooting by getting to the free-throw line, where it made 26 of 33 tries (78.8 percent). Mills made 10 of 12 free throws.
Nobody scored in double figures for Campbell, which was led by Junard Hartley and Eric Griffin with nine apiece.
