Jacksonville quarterback Josh McGregor threw for three touchdowns and running back Rudell Small added two more on the ground as the Dolphins beat Old Dominion 35-25 on Saturday night.

Small ran for a game-high 118 yards.

McGregor completed 24 of 34 passes for 311 yards, including a 19-yard score to wideout Josh Philpart with 1:54 left in the fourth quarter. Philpart caught 6 passes for 115 yards and a 32-yard touchdown reception.

Old Dominion quarterback Thomas DeMarco was 22 of 40 for a career-high 334 yards and two touchdowns. DeMarco added another score on the ground after a 1-yard run, but his three interceptions — twice in the endzone — prevented the Monarchs from cutting into Jacksonville's lead.

Old Dominion receivers Prentice Gill and Dorian Jackson each had touchdown catches while Mario Crawford led the Monarchs on the ground with 57 yards rushing.
