Florida head coach Jim McElwain was not a happy camper on Wednesday.
During his press conference, he openly stated his dismay at how his quarterbacks performed earlier that day in practice.
In addition, he spoke about the program as a whole. Expectations at the University of Florida are exceptionally high. The vast majority of the fan base in Gainesville expect annual SEC Championships, or at the very least, the feasibility of competing for championships on a yearly basis.
In order to do this, a process needs to exist. McElwain echoed these sentiments in terms of knowing how to be successful individually as a player, and collectively as a team.
When it comes to current signal-callers Treon Harris and Will Grier, both are inexperienced. The win over New Mexico State was a good one, but it isn't necessarily an accurate barometer for how either will fare versus better competition as the season progresses.
