The Dallas Mavericks announced Tuesday that forward Shawn Marion will miss the next three games with a sprained medial collateral ligament in his left knee.
Dallas stated that Marion won't compete in Wednesday's home game against Toronto and will not make a two-game road trip to New York and Charlotte.
The 34-year-old, who suffered the injury in the third quarter of Monday's 114-91 win over Portland, will be re-evaluated next week.
The four-time All Star has tallied 8.0 points and 9.0 rebounds per game this season and has career averages of 16.4 points and 9.2 rebounds per contest.
