Philadelphia, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - Ben Martin and Mikko Ilonen both won over the weekend and made big jumps in this week's world rankings.
Martin won the PGA Tour's Shriners Hospitals for Children Open and jumped from 88th to 58th. Ilonen won the Volvo World Match Play Championship on the European Tour and climbed from 52nd to 37th in the new rankings.
Despite several of the top-20 players competing in the Match Play event, there was little change in the rankings. Rory McIlroy and Adam Scott remained Nos. 1 and 2.
Jim Furyk and Sergio Garcia exchanged places with Furyk up to third. Match Play runner-up Henrik Stenson stayed put at No. 5 and was followed by Justin Rose, Bubba Watson, Jason Day, Matt Kuchar, Rickie Fowler, Phil Mickelson, Martin Kaymer, Billy Horschel and Jordan Spieth.
Zach Johnson and Dustin Johnson also exchanged places with Zach up to 15th. Tiger Woods and Graeme McDowell remained 17th and 18th, while Jimmy Walker jumped a pair to 19th.
That move pushed Hideki Matsuyama and Hunter Mahan down one spot apiece. Matsuyama rounded out the top 20, while Mahan dipped to 21st.
Scott Hend won the other European Tour event, the Hong Kong Open, and he soared from No. 218 to No. 133 this week.
