Despite earlier indications that he would play, Marshawn Lynch has been ruled out of the Seahawks' wild-card game at Minnesota on Sunday, FOX Sports' Alex Marvez reports.
After the running back was listed as questionable earlier Friday, the Seahawks said later that he didn't travel to Minnesota and had been ruled out of the game Sunday.
Lynch had abdominal surgery Nov. 25 and rejoined the team this week after spending most of his recovery in the Bay Area working out with personal trainers. He had been a full participant in practice this week in hopes of playing for the first time since Week 10 against Arizona.
Tight end Luke Willson also is out due to a concussion. Willson took part in practice on a limited basis Wednesday, then sat out Thursday, indicating there had been a setback. Willson suffered a concussion in Seattle's Week 16 loss to St. Louis and missed the regular-season finale.
