Mariners sign first-round pick

Seattle, WA – The Seattle Mariners have signed their first overall pick of the 2012 draft, catcher Mike Zunino.

Zunino, who was the third overall selection of the draft, hit .322 with 28 doubles, 19 home runs and 67 RBI for the University of Florida last season as a junior.
