Toronto, ON (SportsNetwork.com) - Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender James Reimer left Thursday's game against Carolina after a collision with a teammate.

Just 32 seconds into the game, Reimer was attempting to cover a rebound when teammate Josh Leivo appeared to hit him in the head. Reimer momentarily remained down on the ice before skating into the locker room under assistance.

Reimer, who made one save, was starting his second game in a row and making his fourth appearance on the season. He was replaced in net by Jonathan Bernier.
