Manningham, Umenyiora won't play Sunday against Eagles

The New York Giants will be without wide receiver Mario Manningham and defensive end Osi Umenyiora for Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Manningham is suffering from concussion symptoms and Umenyiora has yet to play this season after undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery on August 19. Both did not make the trip to Philadelphia for Sunday's contest.

Originally listed as doubtful because of the concussion he sustained last Monday against St. Louis, Manningham was downgraded to out on Saturday after he did not practice all week.

The Giants were already banged up at wide receiver, even without Manningham. Domenik Hixon was placed on injured reserve Friday because of a torn ACL and Michael Clayton was signed to fill his roster spot.
