DALLAS (Reuters) - Former NBA All-Stars and U.S. Olympians Karl Malone and Scottie Pippen are among players, coaches and teams selected as finalists for this year's Basketball Hall of Fame election, officials announced on Friday.
Players Dennis Johnson, Bernard King, Chris Mullin and Jamaal Wilkes also were chosen for the ballot as were the gold-medal winning U.S. Olympic men's teams from the 1960 and 1992 Games, the Hall of Fame said on its website (www.hoophall.com)
The Class of 2010 will be announced on April 5 with enshrinement on August 13 at the Hall of Fame in Springfield, Massachusetts.
