Mabry joins Cardinals' coaching staff

St. Louis, MO – Former Cardinal John Mabry has joined the St. Louis staff as assistant hitting coach.

He fills the vacancy created two weeks ago, when Mike Aldrete was named the team's bench coach.

Mabry played 14 seasons in the majors, including eight with St. Louis. The infielder/outfielder was a career .263 hitter with 96 homers in 1,322 games.
