The Louisville men's basketball team is making the grades in the classroom, too.

On Wednesday, the new national champs were among 976 teams honored by the NCAA for finishing among the top 10 percent of all teams in their sport academically. The Academic Progress Rate tracks whether each scholarship player remains academically eligible and stays in school each semester.

The data released Wednesday measures the numbers through the 2011-12 school year. Louisville also reached the Final Four that season.

Actual scores for each team will be released next week but Wednesday's honorees, which includes nine of this year's national champions, scored between 978 and 1,000.
