Russian side Lokomotiv Moscow announced Wednesday that it has signed Croatian defender Vedran Corluka from Tottenham Hotspur on a three-year deal.

Corluka had slipped down the pecking order at Tottenham after joining the club from Manchester City in 2008. He was loaned to Bayer Leverkusen in January for the remainder of the 2011-12 season.

The 26-year old has signed with the Russian club for a reported fee of $2.5 million, reuniting him with ex-Croatia coach Slaven Bilic who signed on as Lokomotiv manager after Euro 2012.
