The Detroit Lions added a pair of veteran players to their roster on Saturday, signing cornerback Rashean Mathis and linebacker Rocky McIntosh.

Mathis played in 137 games with 129 starts over the last 10 seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars, recording 518 tackles, 30 interceptions, 83 passes defensed and one sack.

The 32-year-old Mathis was limited to 12 games last season after making his way back from a torn ACL he suffered in 2011.

McIntosh played his first six seasons with the Redskins before joining the Rams in 2012. Last year he had 44 tackles, one sack and an interception in 16 games (nine starts).

The 30-year-old McIntosh has 515 tackles, nine sacks and four interceptions in 108 career games with Washington and St. Louis.
