Lions place OT Waddle on IR

Allen Park, MI (SportsNetwork.com) - The Detroit Lions placed offensive tackle LaAdrian Waddle on season-ending injured reserve Wednesday.

Waddle, 23, suffered a partially torn ACL in his left knee during the Lions' 16-14 victory over the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.

The Texas Tech product has played in 22 games (18 starts) over his two pro seasons.
