Lehigh football will play five home games, including its 149th meeting with rival Lafayette, as part of an 11-game schedule announced Tuesday.

Lehigh has won at least 10 straight games in each of the last three seasons and will seek its third Patriot League title in the last four years.

"Our goal every year is to win the Patriot League championship," Lehigh coach Andy Coen said. "We know what we need to do to get there. The only way to ensure that happens is to win every game in the league. We don't look at games strictly as development games, but when you have new players playing, as we will, we have a good schedule of non-league games that should give us a sense of where we're at as a football team before we head into league play."

Lehigh will play non-conference games at Goodman Stadium against Central Connecticut State (Sept. 7) and New Hampshire (Sept. 28). The Mountain Hawks also will host Patriot rivals Georgetown (Oct. 19), Holy Cross (Nov. 9) and Lafayette (Nov. 23).

The road schedule is highlighted by a game at defending Patriot champion Colgate on Nov. 16.
