Landon Cassill and Front Row Motorsports used social media Tuesday to unveil their throwback paint scheme for Darlington Raceway.
Cassill's No. 38 Ford for the Sept. 4 Bojangles' Southern 500 will honor J.D. McDuffie with a shiny blue-and-gold Rumple Furniture Company scheme.
Competing in NASCAR's Premier Series from 1963 to 1991, McDuffie earned 106 top-10 finishes and holding the record for most starts without a victory.
McDuffie died at age 52 from injuries sustained during a crash at Watkins Glen International on Aug. 11, 1991.
