Brett Knief launched a grand slam during a seven-run fourth inning as the Florida State Seminoles rolled to an 11-4 victory over the Troy Trojans to take the Tallahassee Regional.

The Seminoles (47-15) entered the bottom of the fourth inning trailing 3-2 but after the inning came to a close had taken control of the game. Jose Brizuela hit a solo home run and Giovanny Alfonzo went 3-for-4 as well for Florida State. The Seminoles will take on Indiana in next weekend's Super Regionals.

Brandon Leibrandt allowed four runs on eight hits in five innings of work but still managed to collect the win for the Seminoles who went 3-0 in the regional and outscored their opponents 32-4.

Trae Santos went 3-for-4 with a home run for Troy (41-20) but Jeremy McGowan let up seven runs, three of which were earned, in taking the loss. Troy reached the regional final with a 9-8 walk-off victory over Alabama earlier in the day.
