Los Angeles, CA – New York Knicks forward Amare Stoudemire is battling a sprained left ankle he suffered during Thursday night's game against the Los Angeles Lakers.
According to the team's website, Stoudemire is questionable for Saturday's contest against Sacramento.
Stoudemire was hurt during the fourth quarter of the 99-82 loss to the Lakers. He made only 4-of-17 shots and scored 15 points while pulling down only two rebounds.
In three games this season, Stoudemire has averaged 17.3 points with 6.0 rebounds.
