Knicks' Chandler returns to lineup

New York Knicks center Tyson Chandler returned to action Tuesday after missing 10 games with a bulging disc in his neck.

Chandler had not played since exiting a loss at Denver on Mar. 13 with a left knee contusion, an injury that kept him out of the following night's game against Portland. The reigning NBA Defensive Player of the Year then sat out the final two contests of the Knicks' West Coast trip with what the team initially termed as a sprained neck.

Chandler leads New York in rebounding (11.0 rpg) while averaging 10.7 points per game this season, numbers that earned him his first career All-Star nod.

New York lost the first two games he saw out, but have rattled off eight wins in a row coming into Tuesday's game.
