Zeldric King scored 9 points in the final 6 ½ minutes, including a crucial 3-pointer with 53 seconds left, as Tulsa stormed from behind to defeat Oral Roberts 72-68 on Saturday.
Tulsa (7-5) trailed by 13 points at the half and by 15 early in the second half. It didn't make much headway until about 10 ½ minutes to play, when a 3-pointer by James Woodard cut the Oral Roberts lead to 51-43. Tulsa gradually chipped away after that.
Woodard scored 18 points to lead Tulsa. King added 13 points, Scottie Haralson 12 and Rashad Ray 11.
Oral Roberts (5-7) got 24 points from Warren Niles and 18 points and nine rebounds from Damen Bell-Holter.
